Very easy to use, and extremely versatile Greenbox represents the digital solution to enter the world of Direct-to-Packaging Printing with a small investment, especially for the constantly growing market represented by the need to customise boxes, shipping envelopes and paper bags (Shoppers), and Jute in small and medium runs. And now also in DIGITAL BOOK PRINTING.
The incredible versatility of this system is achieved through the combined use of an ultra-fast HP PageWide technology print engine with water-based, solvent-free and totally odourless pigmented inks, capable of printing on paper and cardboard substrates, both treated and untreated, and a height-adjustable printhead for printing on substrates or directly on packaging, and with this modification from 15 cm of vertical excursion, up to 30 cm: Greenbox 2 is now equipped with a micrometric system with digital display for accurate adjustment of the printhead excursion from the substrate.
Greenbox2 has a 297 mm print head put on a moving track that allows it to move on a 80 cm axis. This system allows the print area to be centred on media up to 80 cm wide.
Greenbox2 ‘s productivity is guaranteed by its printing speed: thanks to the HP Single Pass Printhead, the system is able to produce four-colour prints at 30 metres per minute with a maximum resolution of 1200 x 1200 dpi. Greenbox2 uses pigmented water-based inks, used by the most popular systems for the on-demand production of packaging and labels, which guarantee not only an excellent yield on even untreated substrates, but also great resistance to atmospheric agents, rubbing and water.
This is the reason for Greenbox, in this new version, will open up a whole new market to you, a business opportunity to be grasped at once, allowing you to print directly in four-colour process on the spine of your books, embellishing them and making them unique. This will allow you to give your customers a one-of-a-kind book.
